Elephant In Exile

Flying into LaGuardia airport is the best. If you're coming from DC and the winds are right, the plane approaches by flying past the tip of Manhattan then up over Queens toward the airport. It affords those on the left side of the plane a stunning view of Manhattan. I noticed coming in yesterday that the new 7 World Trade Center is not poking its head above the buildings in financial district. Hooray!
