What Wouldn't Jesus Do?!
Looks like that old adage, "First they came for the Jews.." is playing out in Virginia. Drunk with power from their successful efforts to deny gay couples legal protections, the theocrats in Virginia are out to curb divorce Can birth control, interracial marriage, co-habitation and perhaps witchcraft be far behind? Some where (probably Hell) Thomas Jefferson is crying.
This is the current face and theory of the current leadership of the Republican Party at the state and federal level...So far to the right that their mandates, arrogance and commandments match if not exceed the excesses of liberalism and the far, far left. How long before my exile becomes banishment?
