A Great Week
For Geeks
Wow, what a great weekend. Kicked it off on Wednesday with the GOP debate. Sad, but interesting. Then Thursday's Democrat debate. I think Senator Clinton did well, as I found myself not cringing everytime she spoke. Then we get an amazing Superbowl (even if the evil Eli Manning is the hero of the day). It was a good game. And Tommorrow's Super Tuesday!
Oh yeah...and Ground Hog's Day was in there somewhere too!
Here's hoping for a McCain-Obama race.

Public Speaking

To 500 Attorneys....
Here's a view of the room I spoke to at my conference here in Las Vegas. A good group and a fun event. I got to review attendee evaluations as well. Nearly universally good reviews for my performance. Among my favorites:
"Elephant is a stud. This guy could read the phone book and keep my attention."
"It's a difficult task to my legislation and regulations interesting, but Elephant succeeds on all counts."
Lest I get too cocky:
"This guy is a clueless @#$clown."
"Quick, someone call Dale Carnegie!"
And my favorite, "I've accepted the fact that I will never get these forty-five minutes of my life back."
Thanks to all!

Updates
Time Flies...
Lots going on in the world, and I've been focused on getting out and enjoying the incredible spring weather here in DC. Lack of blogging falls mainly under, "if you can't say anything nice." I mean it was 78 degrees yesterday, Paris Hilton is going to jail....what's not to like?!
Also working through all these issues with Bush. A stunning article in this weeks National Journal on Bush/Gonzalez's attempts to get John Ashcroft to sign off on domestic wire tapping, while he was heavily sedated and in the Hospital. Aschroft's appointed Deputy had to call the FBI and CIA to keep from getting kicked out of the room...nice. More on that later.
Also trying to cope with this little factoid...STAR WARS turns 30 this weekend!
