Washington Gas
Two Months, Many Phone Calls, Finally Some Action
Elephant hates bad customer service. Oh, its pretty common, but Washington Gas company takes the cake. As I was preparing to close on my new home back in July, the builder had requested that Washington Gas come out an install a new gas line. (My house was abandoned for sometime). After I moved in the gas company showed up and said they'd have to determine where the service was shut off before they could restore it. That makes sense. They promised to be back in a week to check it out. Well it's now October and they finally got around to checking it out last Friday. I had to file a complaint with the City Attorney to get a response from them. And guess what! Suprise, suprise...My gas service was shut off on the other side of the street and installation will take another month and cost upwards of $15,000 and may or may not be done by Thanksgiving.
Excuse my language, but that's Bullsh*t.
Oh the Drama.
