Boring!
Cheney-Edwards disappoints
Well, the first thing I have to say is that I thought last nights debate was way boring. It's a fine line between an effective rhetorical attack and just burying your opponent in facts and statistics, which I think both candidates tended to do. Cheney wins for me on technical grounds as he was more effective in getting in the jabs and snide comments. I don't think Edwards met my expectations and wasn't as polished as I had expected him to be. Although I think Cheney won purely on technical grounds, I don't think it's going to do much to counter the President's truly awful showing in his first debate. Most pundits this morning seem to be calling it a draw, or giving it to Edwards.
