This is how odd politics have become in DC under President Bush. A Democratic Senator defending his "plan" and a republican one rightly attacking it. People like Hagel, Warner and Collins are the ones who give me hope that after 6 years of following Bush's lead without question, someone might just stand up. We shall see.
