Elephant In Exile

First off, let me just say that I thought last nights debate was excellent. First and foremost because we got to see two candidates, stripped of their spin machines and 527 attack messages standing alone at the podium to face questions many of us have. Moderator Jim Lehrer did an excellent job, asking decent questions and putting both candidates on the spot. No, it wasn't the Lincoln/Douglas debates by any means, but I thought it was the best opportunity we've had yet to see Bush and Kerry go up against each other.
