Gas Prices Stablizing

Prices Fall in Parts of Midwest, Stablize in DC

Perhaps one of the uncommented upon successes of Katrina is that international and goverment responses seem to have blunted what could have been a ugly gasoline crisis. Yes, things are pricey, especially in the Southeast, but oil prices seem fairly stable and a report from my parents is that gas prices actually went down about $0.20 a gal in thier Midwest City.
