Most Disingenuous Moment
Did anyone besides me choke when President Bush made an awkward attempt to attack Kerry on his spending proposals?
His awkward assertion that Kerry has a funding gap between his proposed spending and program ideas just has no traction from a President whose allowed government spending grow at a record rate and has not vetoed a single spending proposal in four years.
It also came across as surprisingly awkward in delivery for Bush, he's the master of folksiness, but it seemed belabored and as if even he didn't believe it.
BUSH: I don't think we want to get to how he's going to pay for all these promises. It's like a huge tax gap. Anyway, that's for another debate.

Thanks for the nice comment. It's nice to see that someone else can recognize that a majority of the policies supported by Bush are technically, not republican at all. From my inside seat here in DC, I've seen an exciting 'revolution' that began in 1994 and focused on making government work, devolve into dogmatic partisanship with the sole goal of holding on to power. I don't think I am alone and there are many of us who will either hold our nose to vote for Bush or in my case, not vote for him at all.
Thanks again
