Kill NASA: Twenty Years After Challenger. . .

and Nothing has changed.

I don't know what is more disturbing, this article about the myths of the Challenger disaster, or that fact in the intervening twenty years, very little has changed at NASA...

What has changed is that thanks to the X-prize and Burt Rutan and other engineers, the government's monopoly on space travel is coming to an end. NASA does some things planetary exploration...human space flight is not among's the worst example of the theory of the self-perpetuating buracracy. The future holds more of the same, with a politically driven, ill-concieved idea to return to the moon. But nobody is asking the why?
